MOUNTAIN EDGE
TRAINING
Mountain Edge Training was formed in 2018 to instruct US Special Operations teams, Law Enforcement, and private citizens in long-range precision rifle shooting. We specialize in applying skills learned on the flat range to real-world, challenging environments that shooters are likely to encounter in the field. Our courses can be tailored to each groups proficiency level and objectives, with the goal of making you a more confident shooter and achieving first round hits.
INSTRUCTORS
BRANDON DAVIS
INSTRUCTOR
Brandon Davis has 15 years of experience in long-range shooting, rifle building, and instruction. Additionally, he has 20 years of experience as a big-game hunting guide, including 5 years with Best of the West—a successful long-range hunting television show—teaching shooting schools, building rifles, and guiding clients on long-range hunts all across the world. Since 2012, he has donated his time to guide active SOF Operators on big game hunts in partnership with the Purple Heart Outdoors Tour non-profit, where he serves as a Regional Director. Davis started teaching privately in 2016 to share his knowledge and experience in both the private and military sector.
NATHAN STYFFE
INSTRUCTOR
Nathan Styffe joined Mountain Edge Training in 2018 after guiding and apprenticing with Davis for two years. He is a full-time hunting and fly-fishing guide in Central Oregon, and he works with Davis on long-range instruction and building custom long-range rifle packages.
Mountain Edge Training is excited to include retired SOF operators to the instructor line-up in the near future in order to better serve the SOF community.
